Seated acupressure is designed to stimulate energy points found along meridians or energy lines of the body.

This treatment is a seated massage administered over clothing. It is performed on a specially designed chair and involves no oils or waxes. This chair massage is specifically designed for working on pressure points of the back, neck, shoulders, arms, hands and scalp.

This is a popular therapy at events, festivals, offices and for lunch breaks lasting 15 to 25 minutes.

What’s involved, and what is it used for?

The fully dressed client sits on a specifically designed chair which offers support and relaxation. The therapist uses their hands and arms to apply pressure to the acupressure points in a sequence which takes around 20 minutes leaving the client relaxed and refreshed.

Clients who have difficulty accessing or lying flat on a massage couch. This massage is useful to relieve stress and tension, loosens tight muscles, particularly helpful in backache, headaches and many other ailments.
